Rutilated Quartz is quartz crystal containing hair-like rutile crystals of titanium dioxide growing within it. It is also known as Venus’ hair stone, Thetis’ hair stone, Cupid's Arrows, and The Goddess’ tresses in ancient times.
Metaphysical properties of this crystal include being excellent for astral travel, and enhancing creativity, insight, awareness, and communication with that beyond our physical realm. It can also increase one's understanding in difficult situations, thus facilitating timely and appropriate solutions. It helps to relieve depression and loneliness, and can provide new direction.
