Venus of Willendorf – Pocket Charms

Product Description

The original Venus of Willendorf was discovered in 1908 by the archaeologist Josef Szombathy near the town of Willendorf in Austria. Although the theory that the Venus of Willendorf is the Mother Goddess persists, in recent years the figurine has also been interpreted as a charm or amulet of some kind for women in connection with fertility.

We currently have two types, hematite and blue quartz which can be ordered from the box above. Due to the handmade nature, the size varies but is approx: 1 3/4 inches tall.  $9.95 each.
Note: Each statue is hand carved and may vary slightly from the photo above.
